About the Brand

Katie’s Cookies was born somewhat out of my love for baking, but mostly for my love of what a cookie brings to others: a quick escape from reality. After much encouragement and winning several competitions, I realized I should scale my cookies to offices and workplaces, events, and even just for groups or people who want some delicious cookies.

All of the cookies are made in small batches with plenty of quality checks from friends and family. I ensure no cross-contamination with nuts and I am food safety and handling certified.

About Katie

My first exposure to baking was with my Nonni who immigrated to the U.S. from Guatemala at twenty-six, not speaking a word of English. She learned how to cook and bake from the 1956 edition of the Betty Crocker cookbook, which she used to teach me the basics of how to make brownies, pies, cakes, cookies, and so much more.

I have a BBA from the University of Michigan and spent much of my time in college perfecting my culinary and pastry skills. When I am not cooking or baking, you can find me exercising, hunting down a reservation at a new NYC restaurant, planning my next trip, or looking at pictures of bernedoodle puppies.
